Collection of my Thai Religious Amulets/Pendants - Message Board/Guestbook

Religious Thai Amulets are immensely popular among many Thai locals or even the Chinese that residing in South East Asia - probably most followers never have the chance to worship the religion and hopefully with the little image that we wear on the body can provide some form of relief. As I mentioned in the site, probably it takes a Thai to create such a high quality website features specifically on these lovely collective pendants. As I can never be claimed knowledgeable in this strong thai traditions but since I am a web developer in nature, I create this solely for personal consumption and hope to provide a linkage among all passionate collectors. Some of the opinion presented within the site was entirely personal and I do not wish to influence any decision prior to any potential purchases or disposal. So, this forum is intended to provide a channel for all to make use of it to present your own individual views. Enjoy.

I have a few Nang Praya and Ponsuphan images. One easy way is to see the chest section of Pongsuphan is very high (most people would take the top flat section to diffrentiate betweeen the two but although it is also a easy way but not always apply). If you combine the two features, you are 90% close. Another way is to observe the base with the tier(s). Over the centuries of development, both images shares a little similarities (the hands) but older images still have their original forms intact. Please be reminded, good and high quality images of these are not cheap (a few of the images shown in this site are truly excellent pieces.

There is a shortcut to an amulet forum listed on the website's external links. In this forum you will find all the mantras (Gathas) you'd ever need.

A very interesting website with a truly unique topic. My dad collects Thai amulets, I got one from him years ago but don't recall the name (probably it was a gift and you don't bother so much). But after looking through the extensive collections showcased here, I managed to find the form that was the same with mine - it is a "Pitta". Perhaps this site has served its main purpose, regardless to treat it as a reference source or simpy for leisure browsing, it is a good site. The photography is excellent and I can imagine it is a tedious process to enable all these things to go online. For that reason alone, I have to salute the creator and many thanks for sharing your knowledge. Cheers.
