Collection of my Thai Religious Amulets/Pendants - Message Board/Guestbook

Religious Thai Amulets are immensely popular among many Thai locals or even the Chinese that residing in South East Asia - probably most followers never have the chance to worship the religion and hopefully with the little image that we wear on the body can provide some form of relief. As I mentioned in the site, probably it takes a Thai to create such a high quality website features specifically on these lovely collective pendants. As I can never be claimed knowledgeable in this strong thai traditions but since I am a web developer in nature, I create this solely for personal consumption and hope to provide a linkage among all passionate collectors. Some of the opinion presented within the site was entirely personal and I do not wish to influence any decision prior to any potential purchases or disposal. So, this forum is intended to provide a channel for all to make use of it to present your own individual views. Enjoy.

Just use your own wisdom to judge whether the "release of qi" from your amulet has any basis on the quote of "open the cased amulets". IF this is the case, for amulets which are hundreds of years old could have released "them" all. Nope. It is just a casing which serves as a protective purpose. Well, since you are not wearing it, just leave it as it is. I guess amulet service centres when read these could be cursing your friend all the way...as all should be out of business because there is no more "QI" left... Just kidding but I do advise you to think of such logic.

Recently i obtained a jatukarm charm pendant after donating to a fund raising activity for temple building in singapore. The jatukarm pendants are blessed in thailand but the thai monk in singapore did help me by offering blessing and chanting for me.
The monk use some holy oil and rubbed it on the pendant, this however cause the plastic casing of the pendant to corrode and the the transparency of the pendant reduce.I am thinking of changing the casing but i heard from my friend that once the casing is open the spell in the pendant will be release and the pendant will lose it's effectiveness. Is this true?I am not thinking of wearing the pendant because the pendant is too big and thinking of keeping it at home, will this offend THE jatukarm god? Please any one with experience, please advise me.Thanks

After spending hours reading the pages, I can read the passion among the lines (so does this forum). I am glad that I had found this new spot. Thanks for sharing your thought as some of them are very inspiring which make me have a second opinion on the true spirit and purpose of why we collect amulets. Regards from Singapore.

try the above link to Brother Purt site. I think the basic version is steel (most popular and cheaper too, such as those for LP Thuad). The problem is the exact measurement that can fit your amulet. When you quote you are referred by this forum, he should help you. You can easily get this when you walk into any amulet shop to get the exact fitting which I would suggest you to do so. Anyway, if your location doesn't have any of these specialties shop, then may be you can try Purt site.

Purt site has a dormain name ALMOST the same with the earlier posting who asked for Thai-amulet.com. We ahd some issues with that site, deal with them in those amulets that advertized heavily with higher premium with caution.
