Collection of my Thai Religious Amulets/Pendants - Message Board/Guestbook

Religious Thai Amulets are immensely popular among many Thai locals or even the Chinese that residing in South East Asia - probably most followers never have the chance to worship the religion and hopefully with the little image that we wear on the body can provide some form of relief. As I mentioned in the site, probably it takes a Thai to create such a high quality website features specifically on these lovely collective pendants. As I can never be claimed knowledgeable in this strong thai traditions but since I am a web developer in nature, I create this solely for personal consumption and hope to provide a linkage among all passionate collectors. Some of the opinion presented within the site was entirely personal and I do not wish to influence any decision prior to any potential purchases or disposal. So, this forum is intended to provide a channel for all to make use of it to present your own individual views. Enjoy.

This is for uncle wichien: I am from pahlawan. You have an incredible collection of high quality amulets. I have tried to reach you from Philipphine but cannot get through to you (I am ot sure is the inter-telco-code correct or not). Can you provide me the address of your residence so I can write to you and ask some questions relating to some of my collections ? Do you speak English ?

A simple answer but very difficult to provide a satisfactory answer. I would like to think it could fetch from as low as 15,000 to as high as 50,000 Thai baht- depends on condition and how desperate you wnat such a piece. Please don't offer me, I have one already.

I am from Toronto, Canada. Anyone has an idea where can I get amulets cased with a gold/silver frame ? I have got two amulets from a Thailand trip a year ago and always wanted to get them done for my gal friend here (she is a native Thai). Please use the board to answer, I am terminating the eamil service soon. Regards, Toronto, CA.

Frankly, after reading an earlier post, I used my notebook at home to sufe this site again, I started to appreciate the true quality of all the images presented within. My office 17" third party monitor was quite bad in its resolution. Last night, I was enjoying so much that I spent 2 long hours going through all the images one by one and I think it took a serious effort to create this website. I don't have the habbit of leaving notes on public forum but I wish to convey my sincere appreciation to the creator, It is a work of love. Thank You !

I am a long time BIG FAN of MIR. It is surprise to find out that Mr Foo has a special interest in collecting amulets too. I must comment that the photography is simply superb. The level of clarity and details shown in these amulets are very impressive, are you still using a Nikon with micro-Nikkor lens to get these shots ? Cheers.

Hello, I have one soomdeg which was given to me by my auntie who visited Thailand years ago and I am still wearing it. Here in Portsmouth, there is a Thai trader who sells amulets, he was very amazed to see so many high quality collectible images after I brought him to a sidewalk cybercafe to check on your website, he just wanted me to convey his appreciation for your works done. Cheers. Regards, DY. p.s. I have heard many HK movie stars have amulets on their own (esp. Soomdeg) and each of them have a Guru there in Thailand to "taking care" of them too, is this right ?

I noticed that the "butterfly" amulet to the right of the Khun Phen in Mr. Paul Lim's amulet section was unverified. If u don't mind me identifying it for you, it's known as "Thep Jamleng" or simply King of Butterfly. The most popular ones are made by Ven. Kruba Kitsana although I'm not sure if the one in your webpage was made by Kruba Kitsana himself. Once again, well done on setting up such an interesting website for us amulet enthusiasts. Will be looking forward to see more amulets on your webpage. Best regards, Malcolm Lee
