The Canon T-90 System |
|
Modern
Classic SLRs Series : |
The Canon T-90 was the last model that uses FD-mount prior to the shift to the autofocus EF EOS system. It hardly lasted a year since its inception but what an impact it has created on the design of future SLR. Every inch a classic, despite after more than 15 years, this camera is still hard to replicate even by today's standard. It was also widely acclaimed as one of the true Classic camera of modern times. Here comes a common Message Board designed specifically for Canon T90 SLR model - this is especially useful when you realize ALL Canon FD mount SLRs have long been discontinued you may require a public forum for common support and sharing mutual knowledge or experience among many of you. This Site has proved to be quite popular and I am quite happy to see these effort was not wasted and special thanks to ALL the volunteered Site Maintainers of this Message Board. Enjoy.

Flash problems are the easiest to handle David Sanchez. Let us in on the problem. If it is knowledge about the system there are some good references on line. Tell. tell all. Yes it is a fine camera, well designed. Fisher3. From : TomR (trigilano@singerfru.com)

My T-90s are great. But I have had problems with my Canon 35-105 3.5 zoom lens. Elements seem to go out of line, as the split image no longer aligns. Can anyone recommend a good repair man? Is this problem common with this lens?5. From : david l. sanchez (dls_10@hotmail.com)

Erasmus, Iwin appreciates all answers, boobele but try to hold that Attitude, ok?..I mean it is hot.... Doc Skinner-, you,the know conditioned response maven- sez it's normal.. If the rabbit gets carrot when he pushes the lever, rabbit comes back again? So without Bugs Bunny here on line he hangs out in the barroom or pub.. Better cause it's safe. Mink, you're right to be so level headed. Cooler in Australia I hear.( Mink. I used to know a Mink in Amsterdam NY. He was in insurance.) Anyway, so be well. Erasmus, just for you, a saying from Ma: " Eat a live toad the first thing in the morning and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day." Dear dear Mr Erasmus - you and queenie do need a holiday! Yes I do agree that those annoying newcomers do ask silly questions which are answered elswhere on this site - but that's the Net for you, instant gratification, there is always someone who is patient enough to answer a reasonable question - or impatient enough to cuss you. No I am not offering a view on the Q's either! look it up Mr Mink from Sydney Town9. From : Øyvind Dahle (odahle@start.no)

FOCUSING SCREEN : a normal screen is easy to get hold of later (I got 2 or 3 of them), so keep the camera with the L-screen, and after reading these postings, you might want to keep the other for backup.10. Dear interrogators. Erasmus loves questions. I have answers. And a 1-900 number for more details, there has to be money in queries. I use taro cards, how about you?..But my question is THIS for this page? How often will people want to ask if the T90 is "any good" and where " is it not so good?" If it were not good, would there be 1000plus archived posts?. And a site dedicated to a CAMERA. A Camera. Not to IN SYNCH, nor Ben Affleck!. A fan club suggestts something. ( I love that last--it has come to my attention that the T90 is a camera worth looking at--I say, old chap, it has has it. Jimminy Cricket murmured in your ear" Dumbo, get a T90". Ok, let's get serious Erasmus, dont scold, you old fart, Will you ever be unhappy if you buy one? Sure. Negative qualities. Read back 10 postings please. .., someone is asking how to get one fixed? No parts, no service from Canon. Takes more work than something in warranty or within past 10 years, the parts timeline for parts stockists. Capish? So, use the SITE for research. And,. Use your commonsense loaf, please, nothing personal intended, summer fatigue here. Next.. How often will someone continue ask for help in finding an eyecup (are they hoping for someone in Belfast to mail them one". If they were stuck in attics like old stereopticon slides, why would they not be available for retail. Or on eBay? Buy the write this down, tattoo it to your firstborn's fanny -- EOS-1N eyecup. It fits fine, It is in production. It is affordable... Oh yes, a search. Well that is too easy and boring. How to test a used Canon T90?., Same as any other camera. You see if it goes click. Or in Japan, if it goes "crick"....Erasmus need s a vacation. Maintainers, I got a migraine. I am headed to my villa on the Dalmatian Coast with queenie for a month.. Back in the Fall. E.B.Black. ( It is better to curse the darkness than light one smelly little candle.).Cheers.
