The Canon T-90 System |
|
Modern
Classic SLRs Series : |
The Canon T-90 was the last model that uses FD-mount prior to the shift to the autofocus EF EOS system. It hardly lasted a year since its inception but what an impact it has created on the design of future SLR. Every inch a classic, despite after more than 15 years, this camera is still hard to replicate even by today's standard. It was also widely acclaimed as one of the true Classic camera of modern times. Here comes a common Message Board designed specifically for Canon T90 SLR model - this is especially useful when you realize ALL Canon FD mount SLRs have long been discontinued you may require a public forum for common support and sharing mutual knowledge or experience among many of you. This Site has proved to be quite popular and I am quite happy to see these effort was not wasted and special thanks to ALL the volunteered Site Maintainers of this Message Board. Enjoy.

Hello. I'm looking for a T90 battery magazine, part nÂș CG9-2683-000. I'd like if someone has a spare or knows how to get one to contact me. I live in Portugal, Europe.2. From : Carlos Jacobs (bluesclues@bellsouth.net)

I would never suggest anyone leave this board. I have learned so much from it, and I plan on posting to it and reading as often as possible. I just wanted to let everyone know that I found another message board that is dedicated to the T90 as well. Who knows, maybe we can make some new friends! http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CanonT90users/ Carl3. From : Howard Owen (hpowen@operamail.com)

Thanks again, Alan. I don't even have four 300TLs, I just wondered if it was possible. :)4. From : Alan Swartz (aswartz@earthlink.net)

I've never tried it, but the 300TL Reference Guide says the hot shoe adapter may be used with "up to four 300TL and/or ML-2 Speedlites." Certainly they wouldn't have duplicated the shoe on the HSA if it posed a danger. I've always thought that combining the Macrolite with one or more 300TL's would be interesting. Backlight or rim lighting for macro subjects, perhaps?5. From : Howard Owen (hpowen@operamail.com)

Thank you, Allen, that's the answer I was hoping for. Have you ever been bold enough to use a flash on the hot shoe adaptor while using the three remotes? Just curious where to draw the line...7. From : Alan Swartz (aswartz@earthlink.net)

Howard, You can use all four connections on the TTL Distributor--three flashes--with the long cords. I think the 20-foot limitation is meant to refer to the distance between the camera and any single flash. I've used three 300TL's with four Connecting Cord 300's with no problems.8. I have acquired the parts to do multiple flash photography with my T90. I am curious about the apparent limitation of using only 2 flashes off-camera. The book seems to indicate that only 30' of connecting cord can be used. So, if one 10' cord is employed to go from the hot shoe adaptor to the distributor hub, that leaves only 2 more such cords that can be run from the hub onward, even though the hub will accept one more cord. Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks.9. From : Don Clary (nvis640@yahoo.com)

Highlight/shadow control: Just off the top of my head, without the T90 book in front of me, I seem to recall that this control only works in the spot metering mode. Need to read the book tonight.10.
